Cathy Shyr, PhD, received her PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University in 2022. Her doctoral research focused on developing statistical and machine learning methods for multi-study prediction and causal inference. Cathy's postdoc advisor is Dr. Paul Harris, and her current research interests include clinical trial eligibility in the All of Us Research Program and developing statistical machine learning methods for rare diseases. She is the recipient of the National Library of Medicine’s K99/R00 award for her proposal, Development and Implementation of Statistical Machine Learning Methods to Shorten Rare Disease Odysseys.
